WELCOME TO ACCEPTING BEHAVIOUR

TRAINING

Training to help schools and Professionals support their autistic, ADHD, neurodivergent children and young people using acceptance-based strategies.

Supporting Autistic, ADHD, and Neurodivergent Pupils Experiencing Difficulties in School

Supporting autistic pupils through acceptance-based practice. Schools across the UK are facing a growing challenge. Many autistic/ADHD pupils are experiencing high levels of anxiety, emotional distress, and difficulty engaging with traditional school environments. Behaviour strategies that rely on pressure, compliance, or reward systems often fail to address the real issue.

Staff are frequently left asking the same question. What do we do when a child cannot cope with school? We provide CPD-certified professional training to help schools understand autistic distress and develop practical strategies to rebuild trust, emotional safety, and engagement in learning.

CPD Certified Training

The Training course ‘An Introduction to Acceptance-Based Support’ is now CPD-Certified.

Participants receive recognised professional development that supports ongoing learning and reflective practice within education settings.

CPD certification provides schools with assurance that the training meets recognised standards for professional learning and development. Participants receive a certificate of completion following the session.

This training introduces the ACCEPT Approach, an acceptance-based framework developed to support autistic children who were previously unable to engage with education, including pupils experiencing severe anxiety and school avoidance.  Our training provides practical knowledge that staff can apply immediately in classrooms and across the whole school practice.

Aaron developed the ACCEPT Approach after years of supporting children who did not respond to traditional autism strategies. The model focuses on removing unnecessary pressure, rebuilding trust, and supporting autistic children through acceptance-based practice. Aaron is also an author and researcher who has published work exploring acceptance-based support for autistic students who were unable to engage with the national curriculum. His training sessions combine research, professional experience, and real-life case studies from children and families who have experienced significant change through acceptance-based support.
