Family Referral

Supporting neurodivergent children and young people using acceptance based strategies.

A family referral is for parents or carers seeking direct support for their child or young person through Accepting Behaviour. Please note that we are based in Worcestershire, where most of our support is provided. Other areas covered are Solihull, Walsall, Sandwell, Dudley, and Birmingham. We cannot cover any other areas in person; however, we may be able to support them online.

Families often reach this point when their child is experiencing high levels of anxiety, emotional distress, school avoidance, or has stopped engaging with education in a way that feels safe or sustainable. You may already be navigating an EHCP process, waiting for assessments, or feeling that existing support is not meeting your child’s needs.

This referral route allows you to share what is happening for your child in your own words. There is no expectation that you have all the answers or formal documentation in place. What matters most is helping us understand your child, what feels overwhelming for them, and what you are hoping support might look like. Once your family referral is submitted, it will be reviewed with care and sensitivity, and you will receive a response within 48 hours to discuss next steps and whether our acceptance-based approach is the right fit.
